„Fremdsein“, das, Substantiv, Neutrum. Bewusstsein der eigenen Fremdheit. „Das Fremde bezeichnet etwas, das als abweichend von Vertrautem wahrgenommen wird, das heißt, als etwas tatsächlich oder vermeintlich Andersartiges oder weit Entferntes“ (Wikipedia). Aber was bedeutet Fremdsein überhaupt, woher kommt dieses Gefühl? Wir haben einige Mitfreiwillige sowie tansanische Gastfamilien und Freunde gefragt, wie sie das Thema „fremd sein“ erfahren haben und wie sie versuchen, damit umzugehen.
